Fulfilling You, Completing Me
How do you let someone know you love them so,
When a thousand miles, can only be embraced,
By words of dreams, desires, hopes, and fears,
When the distance between us cannot replace,
The loving need of holding hands, a caress, a kiss,
A date sharing time and space between you and I,
Making love, all things natural between woman and man.
I wish could reach across the miles separating you and I,
To bridge the gap between hearts and minds,
To hold you in my loving arms so tight, I know,
If only for a moment, I could prove our love across all time,
And yet I think and fear I may never know this is truly real, as
Sometimes a fantasy feels so right, deserving and strong,
And yet when tested real it can be so very wrong.
How do you let someone know you love,
When a thousand miles, can only embrace,
Words of everything yet meant to be,
Me fulfilling you and you completing me.
