The best love is the kind that awakens the soul and makes us reach for more.
The love that plants a fire in our hearts and brings peace to our minds,
That warms us from within and keeps us whole when our other half is missing,
Which makes us dream that we may have that which we have never seen, nor touched nor felt.
I need not push for more - you have already fulfilled me.
I need not compete for time or talk, thought, emotion, desire or affirmation.
Last night you gave me the last missing piece of my life.
When a part of me went to another… it was so missed by you.
As with you I am only human… you are missed so deeply each day apart.
…and yet - when my strength of will and desire can pull you into my life by simply being distant, from a distance,
Imagine what I can do if at your side, standing right in front of you.
All my love, all your life.
