My Body Patiently Waits

My Body Patiently WaitsMy eyes they see all the beauty in you…
Yet by themselves they know not what to do.
They can not comprehend what you see in me…
They only tear knowing that we were meant to be.

My Body Patiently WaitsMy ears they hear your words so clear…
Whispers of love they hold so dear.
Your sweetness they yearn all day, dusk to dawn…
And melt when hearing your voice ‘fore to long.

My mouth speaks of you in verse and rhythm…
Yet some day soon when it is time.
The world will know who I whole so dear…
Once we meet and I keep you near.

My heart beats without a thought or care…
It knows not why it loves nor from where.
It simply pours itself out all day and night…
And leaves the details to my mind and might.

As for now my hands, today, they have little to do…
But embrace the connection between me and you.
They desire to touch you, to caress, to hold…
And you my love, that is all they will ever know.

My body as one patiently waits…
For us to join, and seal our fate.
To believe we are meant to be as one…
Sharing our lives with love anew as the morning sun.
