What is a romantic moment? Is it a gesture? A gift? A thought? Passion? Yes, to all of the above. By learning the desires and needs of your partner you can understand what is romantic to them. The key to this is open and honest communication.
It matters not whether you are male or female; both sexes have a desire to feel special. Women want their men to listen to them and to take them seriously. Men want to feel that their interests are shared. Isn’t it important then to help each other and the relationship grow by sharing these things with each other? You need to take time together every week to talk about these things and learn about each other.
Discover your loved one’s interests, share them, and make them special by making each occasion unique. For example if your partner likes to dance, plan a special evening. Go the extra distance by making it a unique experience; a moonlight dance followed by a much wanted gift. Even if you have a romantic meal at a restaurant, each event should be a different occasion in itself.
Explore each other’s desires. Would he like an all over body massage? Would she like a bubble bath and rose petals on the bed? Make love until dawn and the stars turn to dust. Learning about each other should never end, even after years of marriage people change, there are always new adventures to be had.
Live each other’s dreams together. Find out what your partner’s dreams are. Help them to grow, to achieve these goals. Each of you write down five things that you dream about and exchange your lists. Talk about.
Does a romantic moment need to cost money? No, absolutely not. A touch to the side of the face, holding hands, a smile, a gentle kiss, a flower from the garden-none of these cost a dime, but mean the world to someone you love.
