Romantic Day at the Beach

Going to the beach for the day can be very romantic! The weather is getting warmer and beach season is just around the corner. It is time to get fit and buy a new bathing suit or bikini so that you can look your best and feel great. Don’t forget to polish the fingernails and toenails ladies, as that is very sexy!

When planning a day at the beach with your loved one, here are some of the best things that you might want to bring with you:

• Bathing suits or bikinis and towels (a wet towel bag is very practical)
• Large beach umbrella (one that sticks into the sand ideally, so that it does not blow away) It would not hurt to bring hats too.
• Sunscreen and after sun lotion or gel ( if there are any bugs out… you may want to bring insect repellent too)
• Sunglasses (a must!)
• Flip Flops that you can walk in the water with
• Reading material and or MP3 player maybe (keep in mind you may have to leave it when you go swimming… so use your judgement here)
• Journal, pen, pencil, eraser (some of the most creative ideas come to you at the beach and you might want to write these things down. Maybe you will feel inspired to write poems and letters too)
• If you are artistic, bring watercolors and paper to paint with or pencils to draw with.
• Digital Camera (great to capture memories with, but watch the sand and the water again…you will have to leave this when you swim so use your judgement here too)
• Romantic Picnic for two in a cooler with lots of ice. (pack this at home and make it good!!)
• Wine and wine glasses. You may even want to bring wine coolers or beer. Also, pop, juice and water are all good to bring.
• Snack food (fruit, veggies, chips/dip etc.)
• Beach blanket to lay down on.
• Fold up chairs (very handy)
• Frisbee, badminton set or volleyball (it is fun to play sports in the sand)

All you need to add to this is yourselves and your love for each other and you will have an amazing day at the beach! Have a fun and romantic day! Don’t forget to collect a couple rocks or shells from the beach as a memory of the romantic day together.

Maybe at the end of the day, you can plan to go home and shower and then out for a romantic dinner together somewhere to add to the night of romance. After dinner you can go home and watch a movie together maybe while curled up on the couch together. All the fresh air and sunshine of the day, combined with a romantic dinner and movie will set the mood for a passionate night!
